In the "Sentry" comics, its been stated by Emma Frost that Sentry is the most powerful telepath, as he had erased all of the memory of the people on the earth, even Charles Xavier. I know Professor X or Jean Grey might be a match to him, can anyone "speak their mind" about this..

I thought that the memory erasure action was accomplished by far more than the Sentry alone. Did it not also invlove Dr Strange ? In the original Sentry series I thought they said it was a spell ?

Anyway, Sentry has vast psionic potential but most of this is used to hold his other powers together.

Sentry is untrained and cannot peform the same kinds of feat as other trained telepaths can do (astral projection, memory erasure, mind to mind communication, switching off someones sense etc).

He has accomplished an occasional telepathic action but is is quite uncommon. He does display some resistance to psionic manipulation (with a false implanted reality) but overall I would say that Prof X is far more powerful as he is far more versatile.

That is so wrong. The most powerful telepathy would be some one like orrgo who else comes to earth an takes over it in like 10 secs twice?? Either way sentry only did that one thing that he hurt the avengers by mistake he can't do it like he throws a punch he is pretty weak in the area of telepathy.

What about Jean Grey? If she had the Phoenix Force within her? If she hadn't?

I will go for the Phoenix Force since it is the nexus of all the psionic powers in the Marvel Universe as one of its main features.
