Reboot!! Reboot!Save Daredevil
Sadly our man DD needs a reboot
If it happens hopefully they keep most of his history and just do away with Waid's take.
So, no mutants at all in that pic, right?
Falcon's in it.
He was thought a mutant for a time, but Marvel retconned that away a while ago:
@meatwadf: I'd be okay with it. Because when they all make a triumphant return, it will be with a clean slate.
Hyperion v Hyprion!!!! Woohoooo!
This poster is crazy interesting. I wonder if these characters are actually going to be in this story or if it's just for fun? I am really excited for this, and waiting for it will be a trial of patience for me.
@micah: I've felt for years that a "Crisis" type event would be a great boon to Marvel for a lot of different reasons, so I'll be real curious to see how this shakes out.
Yeah it definitely made me scream this morning when I saw the headlines. Marvel has nothing to lose if they decide to reboot the universe. So why not just do it.
The original Secret Wars is my favourite story in comics, this one looks confusing but kinda cool to see the idea back i guess, so long as Hickman restores the Beyonder, fingers crossed!
That's the wrong Cap in that pic...
there is more than 1 cap in that pic. Hell there's 4 of them on there.

Exactly.
Actually, I just read an article that says the X-Men are gonna be "massively" involved in this event.

Of course they will be. After-all it's their going away party LOL.
I don't see a single mutant or Fantastic Four member. (Then again, I don't see a single Inhuman either.) Also, something tells me I'm not going to enjoy this event. Sorry, but DC did this many years aog, and while it might've worked back then, things have changed and I don't think this would be an appropriate means of reboot. (If they reboot.)
And stop with all the events Marvel! There beginning to feel like cash grabs. Especially when they tie in to every single book. I mean seriously. You just started AXIS and now you announce this? Nice way to down play all your events.
Anyway, I have a theory. This won't just be a clashing of universe, but a clashing of time as well. This leads me to believe that the Bronze Age characters would meet their current counter parts. I see things like current characters killing of them past selves, badly wounding them, preventing them from ever getting there powers, etc. This could create quite a few changes. Just a theory though.
So I've been denying it for weeks but it's starting to look like Marvel could actually reboot and that's a shame.
I'm not going to lie, I hated the idea of a reboot but now I realized I don't care. It would suck but it would also be sweet in my eyes. I love whichever decision they decide to make. (+)

I was excited about this a bit at first when hearing about it, then a little more when I saw the image, but after JUST reading Amazing Spider-man #7 and the mention of the incursions in the Avengers books (which I don't read, so didn't know much about), and the thought of Spiderverse going on, as well as more and more multiverse crossovers, makes me wonder about the potential of a reboot. It seems maybe Age of Ultron really did change things. Personally...I'm not one for reboots. As much as I like parts of DC's new 52, I hate that a lot of stories were wiped out. I always liked the fact that for the most part, Marvel kept their history, bad parts and all, instead of trying to erase it and act like it didn't happen (which in a way is rather condescending to readers). I like that characters grow over time and change, not that they hit a reset button and makes all that progress non-existent. I just hope this is just an event for fun, and not something that is meant to make a major change.
Also, I did notice that all the characters that Marvel doesn't have movie rights to, are not pictured in this event. No X-men, Fantastic Four or Spider-man (with the exception of Miles Morales). I really hope that if they do a reboot, that they don't try to be ultra passive aggressive and decide to wipe those characters out completely. I just don't want any mergings (I do miss reading WildCATS from Image, and hate that some of their characters are in DC).

they need to stop adding event and make some cleaning on useless characters or stories. we already see the multiverse countless of times in marvel. some things must get worked on soon because, for example, having a hulk family was good, spiderverse is good, death of wolverine? definately good. but not giving an end to old story arcs is a weight set on the storylines. i don't want to see every mc2 or noir character showing up from now on,i think is more realistic to pick some characters from the other universes and give them a spot on the current 616. they did it with miles morales and also will do it with jimmy hudson on the death of wolverine. but there are a few (ruby summers, mystique's charles xavier jr) that doesn't fit on that. raze for example is something we liked to see. they didn't revive vulcan, they did it with corsair. and now cyclops and havok are on opposite sites? come on! too much time travel, too much cross over and change of sides. they need to get rid of what they don't find apropiate and focus on good stories.
Hickman has been extremely impressive recently. im so down
this should be Schway
not too sure about everyone else's thoughts on a reboot, im stil roughly new to the comic lifestyle so i'll keep my mouth shut in that department.
but this is Hickman's bread and butter: BIG EVENTS!
his writing style that most people seem to not like, that is slow, and overly detailed is better suited when he knows he's got 12 issues to work with, there is an end in sight. i cant wait! and if his New Avengers run is anything to base off what its going to read like, we are all in for one hell of an amazing story!

Hickman has been using Hyperion and thats something i am very very down with... hes been checking all the right boxes with me and im interested to see how he does with this...
but he manages to put in plenty of action (especially for Hyperion which, like i said, im down with) with the details in his Avengers run so im gonna give him the benefit of the doubt
@saucygiraffe: to get new readers, fans etc etc. that are not already interested in the medium.
(business. business. business)
@captain_canuck: Very nice, man.
