This wasn't the issue I honestly expected. I knew there'd be a big fight and we got a lot of a big fight through out the middle part of the issue. We got scenes breaking up the action that tie back to the first three issues and we get talk of a big serious event coming in one month. Oh and the ending, Nick and Quake and Nick and his lovely partner, Contessa. I won't make any spoilers out of what kind of hints are dropped through the issue of what's to come and if you pay any attention to the previews and announcements Marvel makes you kind of know what's coming in the months to follow in terms of print schedules. But I think this and a few other series are showing the behind-the-scenes looks at the Dark Reign event and we may be seeing the closing moments of the event very soon.
This issue revolves around Nick trying to secure a Hammer base and doing a fairly good job of it, as we know from the last issue Hydra showed up and I'm not completely sure they knew Fury was going to be there, actually there is line in the book that points out that they were taken back that Nick knew they'd be there.
We get a little look at Stonewall's powers, still got me guessing a bit. We see The Gorgan getting his just dues after what he did to Yo-Yo and in the end, Fury's army of SHEILD agents grow as a bunch of HAMMER agents jump ship.
I'm not really sure if there is much more to say, a lot of the story is told in the art and so much of this series is wrapped in so much mystery that reviewing can be hard with this boo, but I'm hooked and in for the long run as of now.
