Plot Summary

I don't really know where to go with this issue. The art is still fantastic and the story is moving to the last piece of the first arc. It's not the excitement I'm used to with this series, which I still love dearly. But this issue is really summed up by the last page where you see that the big battle issue is coming, but it doesn't have the wit of last issues final page with the comment on what Fury would feel shooting his former allies ("Recoil," he replied).
The Howling Commandos are still running around it seems, even within Hammer. Hydra is ready to strike and the Warriors are pretty much not in this issue. What does the issue revolve around you ask, a big attack on one of Hammer's big compounds. It's actually pretty epic, just not what I'm looking for today. Pick it up so you're ready for the last issue, but not if you're a new reader.
