A chunk of this issue is flashback, and a thing people seem to never like is flashbacks. I don't understand why. The flashbacks are unfolding the dealings of Hydra over the last 3 months, so it's really just giving the reader frame of reference. I don't have a problem with that.

The cliffhanger presented at the end of the debut issue is fleshed out more. Nick Fury basically starts his talk of taking out Hydra with just his team. & Phobos reveals his visions of what will happen to each member of the team.

But the real story here is Hydra. Kraken, Madame Hydra, The Hive, Viper and Baron Von Strucker are really the ones moving the pieces here and it all resolves itself with a trip to the Hand.

Hickman promised that if you enjoyed the first arc, which is the first six issues if I remember correctly, that the fans would stick around for the long haul. And with this really being the secret world of the Marvel U, there is little to complain about. The pieces are moving quickly and being that I've read the third issue, I'd promise that picking this up will be worth it. If you like a Spy Book.
