    Nick Fury: Super Spy

The Cover: The covers for this series aren't really the greatest, since  most of it is just white, but it's alright. The little bit of artwork on the actual cover is really good.

The Good: This is a huge reveal issue. Nick Fury and Baron von Strucker were taken prisoner by the Kraken, Strucker's right hand man. This whole issue takes place in the same room, with the exception of some flashback sequences. Now, that may seem boring but the writing by Hickman is superb. As this series is nearing its end, more and more cards are being put down on the table. We have some great dialogue, and we have Fury being Fury, which Hickman has been doing wonderfully. Again, we get a huge reveal towards the end of this issue, and it was completely unexpected.

Also, I just love seeing how the Marvel universe connects altogether, and with Hickman writing S.H.I.E.L.D., he is able to connect certain things from that series to here.

The Bad: This issue did start off a but slow, however. I think that, at least for me, you appreciate everything that goes on in the issue once you get to the end. Secret Warriors birthed out of the Dark Reign, with Osbourn in charge. While I have been loving the entire series, it does seem to have less of a purpose now that Osbourn is not in command. Again, I love this series, but I am not sad to see how it will end. I don't want it to end because it's bad, but because I feel like this deserves a great ending.

    All In All...
I was blown away by this issue's shocking revelation. Hickman is really shaping a large chunk of the Marvel universe to his liking, and this is just another series that he's writing masterfully. Every time I pick up an issue of Secret Warriors, I really have no idea what to expect, anything is possible. Definitely go back and pick up trades and back issues, it's so worth your money. In fact, I felt like going back and rereading everything from issue #1. Pick this up.
