themaskedhero's Secret Warriors #1 - Nick Fury: Agent of Nothing, Part 1 review

    Secrets of the Marvel Universe

The Marvel spy series is here and it's not half bad.

I know, this issue's been out for some time, and G-Man reviewed it when it did, but I find that review to be schizophrenic.

The interaction between Hellfire & Quake in the beginning show that there is characters behind the drawings. And that is most backed up
by how Phobos is portrayed, as a pre-teen who only wants to play Xbox all day.

Nick Fury is still a bad ass, sneaking into the White House just to throw a few lines at the President, breaking into an old SHEILD base just
to blow it up. Not to mention how the issue ends.

But I guess the lacking part of this issue is that overall, the feeling that nothing happened rings in my mind.

My word of advice, buy it for all the extras in the back. Maybe keep your ear to the ground and find out if Issue 2 is worth picking up.
