Well the DCU wide reboot has ended an era...let us morn, brothers and sisters. But also, let us look forward the final issues on the horizon. I take joy in knowing that this title went out on top in world champion condition. I, for one, am looking forward to reading the trades of all the issues of this wonderful series that I missed out on before I started reading the book. Simone speaks on it here
Secret Six
Team » Secret Six appears in 155 issues.
Brought together in Villains United, a group of villains faced off against other super criminals. Now neither hero nor villain, these rogues do whatever is best for their interests.
R.I.P. Secret Six
while i havent read the series , my condolences go out to those who have and enjoyed it. though there is one title left. keep hope my friends
Word I'm sad they're are no new stories scheduled to be told, but there's always the future. And I have plenty of past stories to catch up on and appreciate. The way I generally feel is that this reboot can't "take" anything away from me. I'll always have the stories I love and will be able to share them with others. Now that SS got the axe I'm preparing myself to hear the news that Xombi/T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents are cut. They're even more left field than Six.

Whilst the hater in me is greatly pleased that the reign of Catman fanwank is over, this was a great book, and I'll miss Bane being in an ongoing.

May you break a thousand more puny spines in another better life.
At least you admit you're a hater lol :P
I love Catman and never felt that Simone went over the top into the realm of Geoff John style fan fic with. But of course I haven't read the entire run or Villains United. Totally agree with you about Bane. I'm sure he'll still be a big part of the DCU, but I wonder how they'll reboot and redesign him.

I just........ one of my favorite DC books. Easily in my top five, if not top three.
If I don't get some news on the status of Huntress in the new reboot to alleviate this anger soon I'm gonna be irritated.

He's great but he's hardly the best character in the book.@FadeToBlackBolt said:

There, there. It's ok, soon she'll have another favourite and write their power levels inconsistently and you'll like them just as much :D
Possibly a fair criticism, like I said, haven't read every issue. But in hero/villain comics, what character's ever written consistently? I know she turned him into a badass during Villains United when up to that point he had been nothing but a joke character. I think she went about it in the right way though, showing his rehabilitation from out of shape, depressed shell of a man to the Catman we all know now.
Too far. Just.....too far.@FadeToBlackBolt: Ohhhhhhhhh. Two can play this game. xD
I think Bendis is the best writer ever. He writes circles around that stupid Morrison hack.
Whilst the hater in me is greatly pleased that the reign of Catman fanwank is over, this was a great book, and I'll miss Bane being in an ongoing. Now he'll be moving to Gothm to terrorize Batman lol.
@JonesDeini: You can't go from Jim Belushi to the best in the world with a knife and able to last more than 8 seconds against Batman inside of 6 months. Huntress beat Shiva in H2H. Simone's a great writer, and while she's not Bendis or Johns level terrible in the fanwank department, she does have clear favourites and puts them in fights (whether they win or lose is irrelevant) they have no right being in.But was it six months in story? Anyways, particulars aside I get what you're saying. But as far as the fight with Bats goes, I gotta say the cult of the Batgod disgust me and I'm sick of people & writers treating him like the end all, be all of humanity. I think that's some of the worst and most pernicious fan fic out there. The "power of planning" is utter BS

Blake was training in Africa at least a few years back to his prime, when he actually could hold his own against Batman.
It's ok. The wound will take some time to heal, but I'll be ok.@FadeToBlackBolt said:

Awww. I'm sorry V_V
Friends still? (hugs)
@SC: Indeed...well I got three trades to order
Its worth it man. Gail's strengths here outweigh her negatives like most of the best comic writers I know. This book has amazing characters/protagonists as well. She reminds me a little of PAD too, writing wise, she really embraces characters flaws, but also does a lot of building them up. I am off to go read her interview with Jill Pantozzi, I heard it was good!
@FadeToBlackBolt said:Alright then, it was longer than 6 months, sorry. Batgod myths aside, Bruce is still one of the best martial artists out there. Not to mention he's the smartest of the lot. He shouldn't win against the Cains, Shiva, Dragon, Bronze Tiger or people with enhanced combat abilities (ala Midnighter) in H2H, but he is considerably better than virtually everyone else.
@FadeToBlackBolt said:No it was one year max i believe.and he was'nt training either, just hanging with lions.Unless there is a new martial art called lion-fu.@JonesDeini: You can't go from Jim Belushi to the best in the world with a knife and able to last more than 8 seconds against Batman inside of 6 months. This is actually fine now I can give up on DC all together and focus on Marvel. Thank you DC for making it easy on me.

@FadeToBlackBolt: Well I like the X-Men and Deadpool. I could really care less about the Avengers or any other team. Heroes for Hire is pretty good. Marvel kills a lot of their best books, but I stay mostly cuz of the two mentioned earlier. If I didn't read those I would be reading very few comics.Fair enough. What's your take on Schism? I'm tempted to murder Aaron the way this story is looking >_>
