The Orins Of The Flash
This issue focuses on the origins of Wally West and Barry Allen. It starts with Wally West talking with his shrinkabout his feelings of inadequacies and having to live up to Barry Allens memory by showing all the important points in Wallys life as Kid Flash all the way up to Barry Allens Death. It really starts off as a tv movie, to the point where you could almost see the wavy lines leading into the story. The story is basically a lot of scenes we have seen before. Nothing fantastic, but entertaining enough.
The second half of the book deals with the origin and important story points of Barry Allen, and how his powers affected his life. The writing does feel fresh. The art is classic Carmine Infantino. It is still the very same story. Just with better dialogue. However, it is easy to recommend since you can find the Secret Origin books in any cheapie book box across the country.
