    Secret Invasion: X-Men #2 by asxz on September 23, 2008

    I forgot a long time ago why I read comics. Most of the stuff I have read recently has been shit and nothing seems to get me excited like it used to.This issue was totally badass. The Skrull Invasion is another drawn out nightmare, but this mini is putting the x-men right back where the need to be acting as a guerilla unit with extraordinary powers. It just shows you don't need Wolverine to cause some high-grade mayhem....

    The first issue of this mini series was good and it set the bar high for the rest of the series. So far I can be thankful that the creators seem to have stood up to the task. This is a great book, with a lot of cool character moments. Especially Cyclops and his War room speech.  The art could be the weak spot of the series, it does not exactly light the comic book world on fire.  Nope this books bread and butter is the writing. Nightcrawlers religious delima being frosting on the cake. Definitel...
