All righty then, this is the way you do a set up issue to a mini series. Getting past the cover which has so much going on it almost becomes confusing, the book is a perfect way to start a story. Right out of the gate, we learn who the players are, and then are given plenty of information pertaining to what they are about.
There is also a pretty good balance between the action, and the story. So it never grows boring. What this issue does is, it becomes a very good advertisement for the rest of the series. Yet it does keep asking where is Spiderman? Well we know that from reading the central book in Secret Invasion. So the purpose of this mini series does come into question. Beyond the money making I mean.
