    The Battle ensues ... begin that ensuing.

    Just like one of those Irwin Allen disaster movies of the seventies, all the characters have come together in one place to face the final battle, and this is one big battle scene. Unfortunately, as I have read every book with the Secret Invasion tag on it, I know exactly how much of this book is a reprint.  That also I guess is not a bad thing for those who did not read every chapter. It becomes a sort of readers digest for the Marvel Universe.
      All that aside, it is one helluva fight. I really did enjoy seeing Hawkeye in action again, although I am against the bringing back of the dead, and I see this as a big copout. At least it fits the story.  The book is pure chaos and in each panel is a battle. I do not know if we are to believe that the Skrulls were able to mimic Galactus, but even he is there.
      Another exciting chapter to the story.

      The penultimate episode is also the least satisfying for me in the series so far.  Why so?  Well, basically it's just one big fight, albeit one that was somewhat expected (on the basis of how episode 6 finished) and reminds us all that this is, well, a war, after all.  Here's my problem, though.  I like nuance, detail and that's often hard to convey in a big battle.  I suppose it's irresistable in books like this where there's a huge team up of characters to have these huge fights but it's like ...
