sorry, it was the way you phrased it, particularly in already being upset with the creators for using those characters.
i am personally leaning towards the idea that these will be characters disguised in different costumes and may
not be who they appear to be at all either way, and Marvel is just messing with us. im trying to mind the "secret"
angle here and the fact that the book is the replacement for Dark Avengers. if the characters are covert, why would
they be dressed in their original identities anyways? or be characters who would have no reason to hide their Avengers
status. Beast definatly doesnt. he's renowned and has been card carrying even while he was with the X-Men ad
Norman did him the favor of clearing his fugitive status by having someone impersonate him on the Dark X-Men.
Voodoo's lack of reasons for wanting to be covert is even more obvious i think. just my stance on it. the characters
are likely villains or known anti-hero/fugitives. the premise of Herioc Age is that the hero's win, but theres a power
structure problem established by the fact that SHIELD and HAMMER are now gone and theres no one to run things,
leaving the hero's in charge of finding a way thats going to be acceptable, then working on undoing the rest of the mess
put in place during Secret Invasion and Dark Reign. two prominent and publicly known figures in a " Shadow Avengers "
as it were, doesnt really make much sense to me. Beast for sure isnt going for it. He was leaving the X-men because he didnt
agree with the idea behind X-Force, why would he join a team thats the same thing?
like hows this for an idea. say im right and these characters are disguised as different ones, much like the Darl Avengers
before them. what if that character is Penance/Robbie Baldwin..striving for redemption in a new outfit?
i agree with a lot of resoning and even have some to add to why it might not be Beast., i agree that having beast on a "secret" avengers team is stupid especially since they just put have started having him work for s.w.o.r.d., but that also is a point that he could do the "secret" team thing since sword is a covert agency and its not like marvel would keep him in sword either, its beast, that would be like them having hank pym go off and lead the great lakes avengers,... you point about sheild and hammer being gone mad me think of Nick Fury and his secret team, maybe the secret avengers will be connected to them, that could worlk with your idea that are trying to undo the corruption from secret invasion and dark reign
i had the same idea about Nick Fury being connected as well due to the Secret Warriors
and the name connection. I also renoted the suggestions that the first one may be a symbiote,
even Gargan now in light of the fact that Moonstone, another former Thunderbolt and Dark Avenger is
going to return to Thunderbolts after Siege. as for my idea, no. I actually read today in an interview with Bendis
and Brubaker that thats what the bottom line of Herioc Age is going to be, which is why i included it. I think the
interview was on Newsarama
Secret Avengers Members:
Spiderman
Hood
Seems like a good start.
Secret Avengers Members:
Beast - Cyclops, I f&q3ing Quit.
Sentry - I tore someone a new @$$hole through his entire fricking spine.
Seems like a random list of people who I don't give a sh@t about.
Edit: What if the 1st one was Deadpool?
Okay, what if the 1st one was Cable&Deadpool/Necroshia Xforce annual Deadpool? THAT would be AWESOME! Hell, I'd stop buying every other deadpool comic and buy that one just because that's how Deadpool should be done!
This is Moon Knight for three very good reasons:
1. If you've read the new Vengeance of The Moon Knight series you'll see that it starts at a path of Redemption.
2. MK is one hero who loves his outrageously fluttery capes.
3. He kicks ass in 10 different kinds of awesome.

MK is one hero who loves his outrageously fluttery capes. 3. He kicks ass in 10 different kinds of awesome. "1. As much as I've tried, the answer to this is "No." Considering when you think "redemption" any given Thunderbolt or "Dark" anyone makes more sense, can maybe we stick to heroes who appear in comics on Diamond's top 100 list?
2. The Hood's NAMED for his magic hood and fluttery cape. And he's technically only had 2 (or 3).
3. The Hood's kicks more ass. With GUNS! LOL!
Does Moon Knight even have any super powers? I mean, besides MPD, which I guess is a super power if you'd like to zone out while your body hits people.
That said, I will LOL if the Secret Avengers end up being the MZR "Just Us League"... Sentry's open, Moon Knight you insist upon, Thundra's not really spending time w/ her kid right now, Quicksilver's got some good stories in him, Namor's the Aquaman stand-in right? And all the rest?
I won't buy the book, mind you, because all of those characters are pretty much jerks, but it'd be funny as all hell. "We're the Secret Avengers. Maybe we'll fight out zombie versions one day... NOT!
the hood! easily he strives for redemption the hood has been a villain for years, now he's going good
"@ironshadow said:"Sentry, Moon Knight, Scarlet Witch gotta be wanna these "Do any of them have a sharp finger nail on their thumbs? No, no and no. lol "
I'm pretty sure that's just the cape flowing behind the hand. Why would just the thumb have a nasty nail. Also, the art would be inconcistent, cuz if that were really the thumb, it's really not proportioned to the hands. Just my opinion
Leaving the cape aside, try to compare the hands / feet with people we know wear a cape, Doom? Hood? Moonknight? :S Mysterio O.o
Well I have to say either Hobgoblin or Clock...really hoping is Clock ^_-. But that quote has me puzzled."I Strive for redemption" who would want to be redeemed?
guys i was just thinking, the way the cape looks very odd to me, could it be that in the real pic there will be no cape and that it was added in to throw us off? also do you notice that the avengers title is in gold and the secret avengers title is in silver, could there be a 3rd bronze team?
"The pose doesn't look like one Doom or Taskmaster would use and it's very unlikely that the Hood is going to join the Avengers "Yes and No.
Cons:
1. He's always been a villian Protagonist.
2. He's super awesome as his own team leader of baddies.
Pros:
1. As of New Avengers, he is no long connected to a demon.
2. As of NA, his team was stolen by Norman after betraying him.
3. I think he's broken contact w/ his cousin? Who was a criminal influence on him.
4. He's an awesome antihero who has recently carried two miniseries (DR - Hood, HOM MOE) and dominated New Avengers and been cool on the Cabal. Indeed, it's clear writers LOVE him, as the Intiative team (who, I suppose, aren't REAL writers given recent issues/arcs) practically begged to take him out of context and use him absurdly.

"Beta Ray Bill / Thor / Adam Warlock? (would have to be Classic looking) "Thor NEEDS to be in Normal Avengers.
Beta Ray Bill's cosmic right now, no?
And Adam Warlock's Magus AND cosmic right now, so no.

"Harry osborn should fit in that "redemption thing" "No way Amazing Spiderman would let anyone else touch the character.
" Taskmaster? "He has nothing to redeem himself for.He was a villain since day 1.
It's Brother Voodoo. If you look closely you can just see his finger nail on his left hand. The cape fits, and it is just possible to make out his dreads. Besides, they wouldn't have brought Jericho Drumm out of Limbo if they didn't have something big planned for him." Here we go, another member of the Secret Avengers. This one is clearly wearing a cape. Wearing a cape and bowing their head for some reason. Who stands like that?
I have to admit, at a first quick glance, Hobgoblin sprang to mind. I know it's definitely not him (although how effin' cool would that be?). We have someone wearing a cape and what appears to be shoulder pads underneath? It's on the tip of my brain (not that my brain actually has a tip). I feel like I've seen this pose before. Someone has to have a better idea? Remember Secret Avengers will be drawn by Mike Deodato (and written by Brubaker). Could this be Sentry? Beta Ray Thor? Superman? "
@PrinceIMC: The Dr. title is given to whoever becomes the new Sorcerer Supreme. Just to let people know who it is.
