Two words: Moon Knight
Steve Rogers leads a super secret team, against the Shadow Council.
The Good: I loved the first few issues of this series. However, once the current story arc started it kind of lost my interest. It was good enough to read, but not great. All that changed with this issue. I really enjoyed it. We get the return of John Steele in Steve's life as an opposing threat, and let me just say that he makes a perfect opponent for Steve Rogers. He isn't someone Steve will be able to just push around. Brubaker know what he's doing with each character and keeps things interesting in this issue. From conversation to fight scenes, it is all thrilling. Deodato's art style is perfect for the tone of the book, in my opinion. When we see the action, it feels great. It feels real, like each punch and kick thrown has weight behind it and it looks like it hurts. Also, it's worth reading through this issue just to get to the last page. Trust me.
The Bad: I can't say I have anything negative to comment on this issue. However, I don't find Shang Chi very interesting.
Over the last few issues I was starting to feel like I could go on without this comic, but Brubaker has really pulled me in with just a single issue. The combination of both writer and artists is fantastic and I can't wait for the following issue. And where's Moon Knight you might ask? Well, just go on ahead and read this.
The format is not my own and I give all credit to Comic Vine. Thank you.
