    War heroes duke it out.

    Issue 7 of Secret Avengers.

The Story: Steve and John finally meet after many decades of being separeted. We learn more about how badass John Steele is and how is powers are connected to Luc Cage. When they meet they Shang-Chi people to get Sharon back but they get attacked but the Steve also cheats and had the other Secret Avenger's hiding to help them but the Shadow Council still get Shang-Chi but Moon Knight infiltraded the Shadow Council.

The Good: John Steele is a good villain for Steve Rogers since he is faster, stronger and more resistant then him but he isn't as trained as him but there fight was epic and seeing Steve not playing by the rules wich makes sense since spy's rarely play by the rules. And finally Brubaker is using Moon Knight in someway that is useful. Also Max Fury is trying to have Sharon Carter to join them and I think that this might become a sub plot. Also Deodato still does great art and Steve doesn't look like a hulking mass of muscle without his costume.

The Bad: When the Secret Avengers jump out of the window we see Moon Knight but im assuming he came in the fight in the confusion in order to infiltrate the Shadow Council ship,im guessing it's Eric O'Grady.

The Verdict: This was a good issue and it feels like this arc will end with a bang and maybe Shang-Chi will stay,I really see him satying and make a contribution but this issue also has great art and we still have the mysterie of why Thorndrake wants to resurect Shang-Chi dads. This is a buy.

After floundering a little for two issues this story arc gets itself back on its feet here and provides a good lead-in to the finale.  As with the rest of the series the story here substitutes plot for a lot of action, but what plot there is a quite well handled, the sparring between Steve and Shang Chi, the discussion between Max and Sharon and the faceoff between Steve and John Steele.  The action is well handled, but it is the smaller nuances and setup which elevates this above the previous e...

      Reunion of Old Acquaintances 0

This is action packed in one issue for most all the previous 3 parts of this arc story, told in an unique and amazing way by Brubaker who divided the story in flashbacks and actual time, giving a chance for Steve to regroup and come up with a plan to challenge John Steele and the Shadow Council´s plans. I really enjoyed the dialogues in this issue  - and they dominated over the captions - specially the ones between Shang Chi and Steve, Max and Sharon, but the best in this issue definitely was St...
