    Review: Secret Avengers #8 0

    One of Steve's old war buddies is working with Max Fury and the Shadow Council   The Good I know the name Max Fury is incredibly cheesy, but I love the character, and I love his team. It's his story and team that I am more interested in. The Shadow Council stuff is pretty darn cool and the perfect antagonist for the Secret Avengers. John Steele seems like a perfect fit to the Shadow Council, and the guy is a great character.     Deceipt and Midair strike 0

    The tension is getting stronger as the plot thickens, and we see a Steve Rogers that is very new to the fans, with fists of rage and words of vengeance. At first I didn´t like very much Brubaker´s decision to add new characters into this series (like Shang Chi, The Prince of Orphans), since it wouldn´t allow giving more focus to the Secret Avengers´members, but as soon as I realize  and settled that this book is more about Steve Rogers than the other members, I´ve learned to enjoy this very much...

    Duel of the feint 0

    The action continues to build in this story arc as the team is drawn to Hong Kong to do battle with the forces aligned against them.  There are doing so already knowing some more of Fu Manchu's reasons behind his present actions.  The action here is handled pretty well (I liked how the main action was primarily just a feint) as at the end Steve is forced into making a difficult decision.  The overall tempo of this story arc thus far has been fairly good and the writing has been done relatively w...
