    Who´s Max Fury?

The Story - After Steve Roger´s black ops team first mission on Mars, the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D (Steve) confronts Nick Fury about who was the man running the show in name of the Shadow Council that looks exactly like the ex director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The Writing - This was a much better issue in terms of writing and story, I guess this kind of material suits Brubaker´s style much more than issues # 1 to 4, so that was an easy read. The origin of Max Fury was way better than I would thought, specially because there´s no clone involved. A LMD that is in fact I.A with Fury´s all memories was an interesting idea. Let´s see what the futures deserves for him, since the Shadow Council wants to keep both eyes close to the Secret Avenger´s activities.
The Art - I didn´t liked at first the idea that Mike Deodato Jr. wasn´t the penciler in this issue, but after seeing the combined art of Aja, Lark and Gaudiano I´ve changed my mind, this was an excellent issue. They are old school artists (the way they frame their panels, divides the spaces in the pages, the techniques etc.), I was very pleased with the final result and it was a very enjoyable reading ( where the art really expressed what the writer wanted to tell).
The Verdict - This is a solid issue, well deserving to be picked up, even if you´re not following this series.
4 out 5 L.M.D that weren´t destroyed by S.H.I.E.L.D and went rogue doing justice

I TOLD YOU SO! I KNEW IT! HA! HA! HAAAAA! Okay, got it out of my system, but it had to be said. Since he first popped up, I linked this new "Nick Fury" to Nicks brother, Scorpio, and I was right... In a sense. Now, just because I saw this coming does not mean this was by any means a bad issue. In fact, it was a great issue, and that I saw this coming means that the story is flowing naturally and feels right. And Secret Avengers is slowly creeping up to be the Avengers book done right, making it ...

Nick Fury becomes more of a secret than Steve's Secret Avengers 0

Nick Fury is once again becoming an issue for the heroes of the Marvel Universe. As we read our beloved Secret Avengers, we noticed that the recent four issues had Nick Fury siding with the baddies, some shadow clan group that acts like a bunch of possesed terrorist ninja's who are on the verge of drinking the purple Kool-Aid while blowing up a building. So as we see in the last issue, Steve Rogers noticed Nick Fury among the group and this issue is where we see Nick Fury step up and expl...
