razzatazz's Secret Avengers #17 - Beast Box review

I will accept damaged

The past two issues of Secret Avengers have taking a bit of a different creative direction.  In an era of ongoing story arcs or character developments, these past two issues have taken the route of a one-shot, featuring self contained stories.  At the expense of character development the story therefore depends on an interesting plot and action, and for the second straight issue this gamble pays off with an entertaining issue.  Here a toned down team including only Steve, Sharon, War Machine and Valkyrie travel to Serbia to fight a fight no one else is interested in.  This soon turns into a fairly entertaining chase scene.  The issue's wrapup is pretty fast, but it sort of needs to be here.  All things considered this was a fun issue, not really memorable, but held together relatively well.
