Scourge
Scourge is a comic book character that first appeared in Iron Man #194
"Justice is served..." Various individuals that have taken it upon themselves to rid the world of Super Villains... permanently. He soon will show up as a member of the newest Thunderbolts-formation.
Scourge
An organization of a single body or several whose soul purpose is to assassinate criminals. The golden-age Angel at one time founded this organization, but was stopped by US Agent.
The original Scourge has surfaced in the pages of Incredible Hercules, as one of the dead villains in Pluto's realm sent to distract Hercules.
THUNDERBOLTS
During Dark Reign a new Scourge joined Norman Osborn's new team of Thunderbolts. He did not appear along with the initial team members in the comic but kept appearing on the covers regardless. This unidentified man job is to track and kill Songbird. -- How it all happened -- Nuke took on the mantle as the new Scourge of the Underworld.
Drafted into the Thunderbolts, he was soon promoted to leader of the termination squad. Therefore, demoting Yelena Belova who so happened to be the secret agent known as Natasha Romanova a.k.a Black Widow. On his first mission to terminate both the Widow and Songbird (Melissa Gold), he sadly failed. In which, the team discovered his flesh was cybertronic. In the end, he told Osborn no longer to call him Scourge but Nuke. Explaining the failure created by the Thunderbolts, Nuke was demoted and who took his place....was the real Yelena Belova a.k.a Black Widow II!
