    Scotty appears in issue eight of the Drawn & Quarterly comic book series, Optic Nerve.

    Scotty was created by Adrian Tomine.

    Character Evolution

    Scotty is the teenaged protagonist of the Optic Nerve story "Bomb Scare". He is a young boy with a lot to deal with. He is becoming aware of his sexuality for the first time, is unpopular at school, and his mother has a new partner named Paul who is becoming gradually more involved in their lives. He works part time after school in a diner with Cammie, and the two become friends.
