Last month, Scott Lobdell asked for your questions. Questions were chosen and they were answered. He mentioned he would answer five. Seven were actually selected and six were actually answered. But when you watch Scott's video response, you'll notice the discrepancy in number. Let's just say Scott sort of said a couple things he shouldn't say just yet. DC asked for them to be removed and of course we'll all cooperate.

It's a shame those two questions were cut. They were juicy ones too. Maybe next time.

Do you want to see more of Scott answering your questions?

Fav author, due to the fact that of the three comics i first got: JL1, TT1 and Static1, Teen Titans stuck out the most to me. It also helps my comic book store was behind on JL comics.

Love Lobdell his run with the X men was awesome, Loved Generation X it was my favorite title of all time. I read Red Hood just because of him, so im strongly considering picking up Superman and Teen Titans because of him'

@Scott_Lobdell: and if this is the real lobdell you should send an angry letter over to Marvel about how piss poorly they used your gen X kids (esp since half of them are dead now :'( )

BB, The world is full of cheaters! McKlayn, I haven't kept up, but they are all Marvel's characters and they should always feel free to write the best stories possible!

This would make an awesome new segment !! he kinda reminds me of Tony at some points :p

#18 Posted by cbishop (7430 posts) - - Show Bio

@G-Man: This is what you need to do with the "Ask & Ye Shall Receive...Answers" segments. Put the name in print at the bottom, then show the question... and edit out the parts where you ramble. You could fit so many more questions in each installment that way. (he says greedily) :)

#19 Posted by TheMess1428 (2176 posts) - - Show Bio

What were the 2 questions?

#20 Posted by CitizenJP (623 posts) - - Show Bio

RESIDUAL RESIDUALNESS is all I needed to hear. Thanks, Scott.

Thanks for the video Scott, I'd love to see something like this become a regular thing! Also, keep up the good work on Superman! I'm really digging it so far and Kenneth's art is pure eye-candy.

More of these videos I say!

@Scott_Lobdell: It's really cool of you to take your time for us fans by answering questions and giving some of your thought on it all!

#28 Posted by G-Man (18883 posts) - - Show Bio

@cbishop: That would make editing even longer. 40 minutes is a lot to edit.

@TheMess1428: They were really epic ones. It's a shame they had to be cut.

#29 Posted by Cavemold (1684 posts) - - Show Bio

Thanks for doing this lobdell. What Ive learned from this is , No new Gods in superman arc , I think that would been great way bring this book back to revelance . Maybe making lex jokerish will work. You will not explain Jason Todd death and resurrection in anymore detail. . I think that's a good idea for everyone invovled.. I'm glad louis will be involved with Clark and not superman.Anyways best of luck to you.

So we'll never know what they were regardless of the answers?

He didn't answer my question! I need to know if the Hel on Earth story will be self contained or not!

#39 Posted by Mbecks14 (2029 posts) - - Show Bio

Well I was excited about his answer regarding Lois until he said there'd be a dramatic change in the dynamic to intentionally be different. I like new and fresh but change for change's sake is tricky, especially when it's not well done. Now I'm just nervous.

Thank you Scott for choosing my question. Im a huge fan and i am looking forward to continuing reading your books.

yups. a lil disappointed that we couldn't view the other 2 questions.

Disappointed in the softballish questions. I understand he was limited in what he was allowed to say but I'd like to see some response to the Tim Drake issues. Satisfied with the open endedness of the Red Hood origin though.

It is so weird seeing a character with my name O_O and a writer saying it.

#45 Posted by Zeeguy91 (1174 posts) - - Show Bio

He's actually kinda funny

#46 Posted by sesquipedalophobe (4765 posts) - - Show Bio

Lobdell didn't answer my question because he couldn't pronounce my ridiculously stupid nickname.

#47 Posted by Scott_Lobdell (22 posts) - - Show Bio

I think the G-MAN is teasing you a little -- I don't think the answers were THAT epic! LOL

I just got a little spoilery with my answers and when they were sent in for fact-checking we were asked to omit them. (We had even planned to go with a black tape edited over my mouth but it would have taken too much time.)

The good news is, we got to do the answers on video -- the bad news is, once they were edited it didn't make sense to go in and record more. (Next time I'll tape ten answers so we have more choices in the final edit!

Also, keep in mind: I didn't chose the questions - they were chosen for me by the G-Man (Lest it appear I was shying away from tough questions.)

Regarding "softball questions" -- I have actually already given a pretty detailed answering of thought process on Teen Titans #0 and Tim Drake.

You can find it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JKjhEekPpw

Even though I've dropped Teen Titans due to Tim becoming a typical Mary Sue and now adding gymnastics to his flawless repertoire I'm poised to tackle some of Scott's other work and RHATO has otherwise been on point.

That was pretty good! I really wish we could've seen what else he said, but maybe CV will post it after NYCC this coming weekend.
