    MacDonald "Mac" Gargan was a failing private investigator that was turned into the Scorpion with financial help from J. Jonah Jameson. He became a host of the Venom symbiote and was part of Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers. After the US Government took the symbiote, he became The Scorpion once again.

    Okay Eddie is Anti-venom and Gargan is Venom get it over with it i am getting sick and tired Eddie is the truve Venom this and Mac dies that it is annoying   so you think i care no Eddie was a cool venom but MAc is better cause Venom is Villain right? so Mac instead protecting the innocent he kills them secretly  when he's Spider-man okay so Venom (Eddie Brock) could not be able to hurt the innocent and he does bad things but maccy here was Bad  so give him a chance and besides unlike Eddie who loves the innocent  he hates the inncocent

    Mac is a better Venom.

    It prevents him from being just another animal villain and it prevents Venom from being motivated purely because of losing a crap job.

    Well I just don't like Mac's Venom, I mean he was pretty cool in Thunderbolts when he got all angry and big. But when I first saw him (Civil War) I didn't know it was Mac and I didn't like eyes they had on him.

    I mean I first saw Eddie in the Spider-Man cartoon and thought he was cool and I really didn't like Mac. So basically I like old school Venom.

    A lot of loser could do that. Having power doesn't mean one isn't a loser. And VENOM did that. You need two to dance tango and two to have Venom, Mac did it with the simbiont.

    @reaper2923:  Yes but since Brock is the Anti-venom the symbiote now sticks with gargan  and Gargan once weared the Scorpion suit with Venom symbiote and had a stinger and there both even and Gargan is no more than a Winner and needs osborn and now wants to kill osborn some day and they both want to know everything about Spider-man usings their symbiotes and Morlum could get involved and carnage to and OSborn so they all evoled someday hope marvel can do that

    venom is much more consistent and cooler now that there is good venom (eddie) and bad venom (mac).  it makes more sense and we now have to cool characters instead of one that is sometimes good but other times garbage.
