There are two great things about this issue: 1) It´s got Sergio Cariello in charge of the pencils, so you gotta believe this is a very detailed, full of action and great art issue, with amazing battle scenes, great visuals, excellent job by this brilliant artist (the sample is the cover) and 2) We got to see Mariella wielding a sword and the surprise aid of a group of lesser races made only of warriors that left Raven territory to help Ethan in defending Sanctuary Isle - the battle goes weary and awry for Ethan and his resistance, since the Tigris counts on thousands of robots and tanks and all kinds of robotic device, so will he use the forbidden weapons that he discovered in issue # 38 (I think it´s a logical choice) - things in the Heron territory don´t go easy as well and Ylena and Kai must face a dreadful scene, yet there´s nothing they can do about it - this invasion arc story is really picking up the pace, this issue is devoted for action (by the great art of Sergio Cariello) and some strategic maneuvers, but I really enjoyed Ylena and Kai´s dialogues, though the ones involving Ethan weren´t so good - definitely the best thing in this issue was seeing Queen Mariella engaging several robots to protect his husband King "What´s my name" Dane. Great issue, Highly recommended!
