    Origin

    The Science Police are law enforcement agency, who serves the United Planets and has various relations with the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th and 31st centuries. In the 21st century, the Science Police serves the federal government of the United States with divisions in Metropolis and Midway City.

    Creation

    The Science Police was created by Jerry Siegel and John Forte.

    Team Evolution

    21th Century / New Earth

    The Science Police concept as been adopted by the federal government of the United States, with a division established in Metropolis. The Guardian serves as field leader for the Science Police. Officer Harper and a disguised Mon-el are also involved in the SP. All field officers are equipped with battle suits that allow flight, offer protection and provide weaponry. The Science Police enforce the ban of all Kryptonians from Earth. A division of The Science Police is known as Squad K, an elite team that is called upon as a last resort if Superman is ever mind-controlled or turns rogue. Their weaponry includes Kryptonite as well as multiple high-tech weapons that can injure Kryptonians. Squad K is lead by Colonel Perseus Hazard, a man who seems to be looking for any excuse to bring his team into action and take down The Man of Steel.
