So now that Cyclops and Wolverine have officially split the team in two, was it wise for the X-Men to split up like this?

My answer: NO, especially in a situation where all the mutants are becoming extinct. Since this terrible incident is happening, it is now more important than ever for the X-Men to remain together through all of this turmoil so that way they can find ways to save all of mutant kind from extinction. In splitting the team, they are risking the lives of the mutant children by separating them from each other. I know that this event was started just to make money on the comics and to shake up the X-Men universe a bit, not to mention, the argument between Wolverine and Cyclops has been waited on for years to come, but in a time when all of mutant kind is in danger of extinction, teamwork might be the only way to save mutant kind.

So, do you think that the X-Men should have split in such a dire situation?

So Cyclops is telling Wolverine that because of his views about not using children as soldiers, he's making the team weak?

thats not what the quote was about he was telling wolverine that by leaving while the whole world watched all there enemys would come faster and harder than ever. on a side note wolverine taking soliders away even if they are children does make the X-men weaker but no thats not what the quote was about

Let's say that gathering all the mutants on the big rock in the ocean isn't wize too. If Utopia is nuked, all the mutants are dead.

Oh yeah. You would have thought that Cyclops would have learned from the incident at Genosha about putting all the mutants on one island.
