Okay. So she kills the avengers, pulls fake avengers out of her...feet, she warps all of reality, depowers 98% of the mutant population.....and she's still not listed as an omega level mutant! Come on, that's crap! Who agrees!?
Scarlet Witch
Character » Scarlet Witch appears in 4408 issues.
The world knows Wanda Maximoff as the Scarlet Witch, with probability manipulation and reality-warping abilities. The twin sister of Quicksilver, mother to Wiccan and Speed, and ex-wife of the Vision; Wanda has taken on many roles throughout her life but will forever be known for causing the Decimation.
Why isn't she an Omega Level Mutant?

because the term "omega level" is a stupid term and they should have never made any of the levels to begin with

I agree with Erik. I would also like to know what the clear definition of an omega level mutant is.
Because Omega Level mutant is a flash word used often by writers to pander to fans who think they know of characters powers well and insist on knowledge that is often so fluid and flexible. There is no, nor has there ever been a well defined criteria for an omega level mutant and various writers have various understanding of the term. Fans want to much objective info and writers know not to do that to much (well, or they know it conflicts, contradicts with other writers) and there is not so much incentive for Marvel to enforce otherwise. Hmm that?
I know it is confusing. Omega potential means that your potential is without bounds, it should grow and grow even if your power level changes (wouldn't they have to) or if you tapped into an external source. Right? Potential after all is the ability to do. Not all potential is realized. Legion changes all reality, he is omega. The Scarlet Witch does the same thing for longer and depowers the mutant population and she is not?
@CitizenBane: Isn't that true for Jean Grey or Rachel as well. They tap into the Phoenix force.
