Synopsis: The Assassins Guild goes after Kaine.
Kaine can't seem to get a break lately. He's trying so hard to start over, yet in every issue, he's reminded of his dark past. This issue is more action driven than an actual story as Kaine is fighting for his life against the members of the Assassins Guild. They all share unique abilities that makes them formidable, and because of that, I love that it brings out Kaine's brutal side of fighting. But Kaine is not stupid. he can kill these people, but he knows that they'll keep coming after him and the people he's now associated with. So, if he has to make a deal with devil himself, he'll do it in order to start a new life.
However, it's not just about Kaine in this issue. The young kid Aracley is starting to show some interesting skills.
Ryan Stegman shows how brutal Kaine can be. I sound like a broken record, but Kaine is not Peter. He has some extreme methods of taking out people, and Stegman shows this with the artwork. It's brutal, violent, and bloody.
I'm liking this series more and more with each issue. It's also the fact that it's hard to predict what will happen next. Can't wait for the next issue.
