So, who's the Other?
Midst of Wolves, Part 2. Oh, boy...I've been anticipating this one. This month proved the relativity of time to me. Let's cut to the chase. This will be a spoiler free review, so I won't be revealing that much. Anyway, I want to commence my review by saying that Yost's been doing a great job with Scarlet Spider. Well, Kaine was dying, right? Right. And wrong. We have some serious development here that relate directly to The Other arc (Straczynsky's run on Spiderman). The reader finds out, or to put it more correctly, begins to find out what's going on with the specific nature of Kaine's spider-powers, while the well known personal question - torment comes back one more time to haunt Kaine. Is he a monster?
The Good:
Midst of Wolves pt2 is a critical point for Scarlet Spider comic book. We have the chance to see some serious development concerning Kaine. It's an interesting story that feeds your curiosity. Kaine proves to be a "genuine Parker" with his altruism and I really like it as an idea.
The Bad:
You don't get to see a lot of Scarlet Spider and to be quite honest, I was expecting for more in this one, but the way the story goes wouldn't permit more super-hero action.
and the Ugly:
Really, there's an ugly creature in there...
Verdict: 4/5
