Scalphunter's friends and family

John Greycrow is a Native American mutant, as well as one of the oldest mutants alive as he has fought in wars since World War II when his powers are first known to have manifested themselves.

Scalphunter and Mr. Sinister first met up sometime around World War II. Scalphunter was then christened Sinister's first New Marauder, but it was not for many years that a second was chosen. Scalphunter and Sinister were seen together in Vietnam during the war and were supposedly known to capture American soldiers in the forests, the soldiers were never seen again. Sinister than had Scalphunter go recruit him his second New Marauder, Sabretooth. Scalphunter remained a Marauder for Sinister through several incarnations of the team, all the way up to Sinister's death.

Vertigo is a Savage Land Mutate with the ability to disorient other's sense of balance.
