Lisa's taking her fashion vlog from a little webisode on BayTube to a chance at stardom... She's entering a contest to be the Fashion Channel's next student commentator! But when her ratings slip, her only chance is accidental video of Jessie's wardrobe malfunction! Will Lisa do the right thing and take the video down, or fulfill her life-long dream of being on TV -- even if it's at Jessie's expense?
Synopsis
Lisa ends her Baytube fashion vlog and announces to the group that she is in a contest to see whose channel gets the most hits. The winner gets to be Fashion Channel's Student Commentator. She enlists her friends to model some of the fashions she wants to highlight. Screech, of course, bungles the wardrobe and clothes end up all over the floor.
Lisa later finds out that she is in eleventh place. All of her ideas to nab new views fail until Jessie walks into the Max. Jessie, it seems, has tucked her skirt into her underwear. She slams some books down (after studying for an academic decathlon) and somehow takes a video of her panty faux pas and somehow automatically uploads it to Lisa's Baytube page. The video is a hit and bumps Lisa up to tenth place by the next day. Jessie is mortified that her butt got posted to the internet. Even worse are the cat-calls she gets. She orders Lisa to take the video down. Lisa promises to take it down, but then notices that she is now in third place.
At the Max, Lisa battles with herself whether to take the video down. Her friends push her to remove it. She nearly agrees until Mr. Belding informs the group that Lisa is now in first place. Lisa decides that her friendship with Jessie is stronger than some embarrassing video and vows to remove the video once she has one. What's one more day?
At the academic decathlon, Jessie is being trolled by members of the opposing team. She rushes out to see her friends and questions whether she will be able to focus in light of the damage the video has done to her reputation. Kelly tells her not to worry about it and shows that she is now rocking the Jessie fashion mistake by having tucked her skirt into her panties. Zack and Slater are also joining the underwear movement by wearing their boxers outside their pants. Despite this show of solidarity, Jessie freezes and has to try and make up for points at the next day's events.
Lisa is true to her word and takes the video down once she has won the competition. The Fashion Channel calls and offers Lisa an interview. She is ecstatic, but her friends are disappointed. Lisa decides to talk to Jessie to clear the air. Slater takes her laptop to ensure that no more embarrassing videos of Jessie show up online.
At the library, Jessie accuses Lisa of putting the competition before their friendship. Lisa agrees and apologizes, which apparently makes everything okay. Later, Lisa overhears girls discussing Jessie in the bathroom and she realizes that she needs to do a little more to make things up with Jessie.
At the Fashion Channel, Lisa introduces her final video as part of her interview. She showcases the "Spano Skirt," which, of course, is a skirt tucked into panties. Kelly and Lisa exhibit this latest trend. The folks at Fashion Channel, however, are unimpressed and Lisa does not get her dream job.
Back at the Max, Lisa laments losing her dream job while Zack applauds being able to see Kelly's underwear. Jessie arrives and informs the group that she won the decathlon.
