Demon who has clashed with Doctor Strange many times. He is sometimes refered to as the son of Dormammu and father of Hellstorm and Satana.

Satannish has been one of many demons to be called satan. He has made his own spirit realm like hell where he takes most of his souls from living people making deals and giving up their soul. Satannish was apparently made by the ruler of the dark dimension Dormammu who he actually secretly serves. He is an evil and menace demon. He usally gives power to those who give up their soul. Doctor Strange and him most of the time do nothing but fight. They first met when Lord Nekron another demon tried to give satannish Doctor Strange's soul instead of his own. But this attempt by Lord Nekron was failed. Later a group called Sons of Satannish was formed which was led by Asmodeus. They tried to use satannish's power to plot an evil plan but it was stopped by Doctor Strange and the Avengers. Later dying of a out of no where heart attack, Asmodeus would try to when his life and soul by giving satannish the Defenders souls. But, he was defeated and Satannish claimed his soul. His plans seemed to just keep getting destroyed by the Avengers or Doctor Strange. Later, Satannish teamed up with other hell lords like Mephisto and Thog to create hell on earth but that to was ended by the Defenders. Satannish has had a long hate for Mephisto. Which started after a battle for Baron Mordo and the formation of the Satannish team Lethal Legion which was made up of souls stolen from Mephisto. When Satannish tried to conquer all hell realms he was defeated and Mephisto had apparently killed Satannish. Now Satannish has yet to be seen.
