    AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #616

    COVER BY:Paolo Manuel Rivera
    WRITER:Fred Van Lente
    PENCILS:Javier Pulido
    INKS:Javier Pulido
    COLORED BY:Javier Rodriguez
    LETTERED BY:VC - Joe Caramagna

    THE STORY:
The Sandman has vacillated between good and evil over the years, joining the Sinister Six and the Frightful Four...as well as becoming a reserve Avenger and a member of Silver Sable's Wild Pack. But as of this issue, and forever more, he will always be known as a villain -- one of the worst in the Wall-Crawler's Rogues Gallery -- and it's all Spider-Man's fault! Find out the shocking reason why in this issue as "THE GAUNTLET" continues! Rated A …$2.99

Sandman quit villainy.  I'd have prefered if they had him join the New Avengers or something.  Why did they have to go mess up his life just for one dumb story line.  Also, the Gauntlet looks not-so-good.

Yeah, he hs always been kind of neutral.  I was hoping after all these years, seeing as close as he was, they might actually bring him to the hero side.  That would be cool.

I prefer Sandman as a villain. He started off as one, and in my opinion he should stay one.

He did start out as a villain and while I do wish that they would explore his more heroic qualities for a while I am mildly interested what drove him to villainy again, I don't care enough to buy the series ,

Many, many of the heroes in the Marvel Universe started off as villains.  Ronin, Wolverine, Emma Frost...  Heck, look at Quicksilver.  He was a long time X-Men foe before he switched sides, but now he is a hero.  I think it makes sense to have Sandman switch sides.  Just my opinion, though.
