What's Comic Con like?

#1 Posted by Gambit1024 (9890 posts) - - Show Bio

NYCC is this weekend and it's the first con I'm ever going to. I've only seen cons through the coverage on sites like this one, but I'd imagine it's MUCH different than that in person. So what are some do's and dont's of comic con? What should I do to prepare and all that stuff?

Thanks in advance. I'm really excited about it :)

It's loud, crowded, and full of people in cosplay.

It's actually a lot of fun.

I'm just pissed that I can't go Friday this year. Ah well.

like sex, and eating chocolate, it can't be fully explained, you have to experience it for yourself, but be careful,  also like sex and chocolate it can be a bit of a mess

It's the best place to get laid.

You should go to the Boston one later this year, I haven't been to any other ones, but something tells me I wouldn't like them as much as I like Boston's. The reason is because it wasn't to crowded, I got to visit all the greats like Neal Adams pretty quickly.

It's like returning to your bed after a hard day of working, like taking a bite of your much desired favourite food, it's like taking Charie Sheen...

It's like you can get to see lots of cool stuff what they have.
