    July 24th San Diego Convention Schedule


    It's kind of a known thing that the most popular convention days are usually Friday and Saturday. This is the panel schedule for the San Diego Convention for Friday, July 24th. Remember, we will be attending some panels and discussions, but not all of them which is why we want to know what YOU GUYS REALLY WANT TO SEE. If any of them are of interest to you, please tell us so we can be sure to report on the information you guys really want to see!


    • 10:00-12:30 Warner Bros.— Join WB for a look at their much anticipated slate of upcoming genre films, including Where The Wild Things Are, The Book of Eli, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Box, Jonah Hex, and Sherlock Holmes. Hall H

    • 11:15-12:15 Marvel: X-Men— The streets have erupted in violence and the safe haven that mutants thought they'd found is in turmoil. The Dark Avengers have put Daken in Wolverine's place, and there's an all-out war tearing through space and time with a certain red-haired green-eyed girl at the center of it. You've got questions and these people have answers! X-Men group editor Axel Alonso is joined by a host of creators to lay out what's going on and resurrect a beloved—well, that would be telling! You need to hear it for yourself! Panelists include Matt Fraction (Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Utopia), Craig Kyle and Chris Yost (X-Force), Marjorie Liu (Dark Wolverine), Daniel Way (Deadpool), Jason Aaron (Wolverine: Weapon X), and more on this all-new, all-deadly panel!     • 12:00-1:00 The Great Transformers/G.I. Joe Crossover— Giveaways and announcements pack this panel with more excitement than Snake Eyes versus Starscream! If you've ever enjoyed G.I. Joe or Transformers, then come on down and learn about all the cool new things going on with both—from comics to video games to cool movie prop memorabilia! Flint Dille (G.I.     • 1:30-2:30 G4: Attack of the Show— TV's first and only live daily show dedicated to the "digital generation"—breaking the hottest web videos, latest gadgets, blogs and videogames. Kevin Pereira, Olivia Munn, Alison Haislip, Blair Butler and AOTS producers bring you the closest thing to being on a LIVE Attack of the Show!     • 4:15-5:15 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles— This look at the whole spectrum of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (from comics to toys to TV to movies to video games) celebrates the 25th anniversary of the world-famous brand. Moderator Gary Richardson (CEO, Mirage Studios) discusses the evolution of the Turtles with those people instrumental in the characters' incredible success. Panelists include Kevin Eastman (co-creator of TMNT), Lloyd Goldfine (supervising producer, 4Kids Productions), Steve Barron (director of the original TMNT movie), Karl Aaronian (senior VP of marketing, Giochi Preziosi U.S.A.), Matt Leunig (associate producer, Ubisoft), and Galen Walker (producer of new TMNT movie slated for 2011).     Is Michael Uslan still attached to the purported Capt. Marvel "Power of Shazam!" movie?  Any info obtained regarding this would be really excellent.  Also I am keen to learn if there will be ANY type of other super hero comic book properties possibly being made into a movie.

    Anything you guys share will be awesome!  Will they allow you to video anything at the Con?  I hope you can it would really be great for those of us unable to attend to see anything in terms of the Con.   Have fun while you are there!!
