Are You Ready for San Diego Comic-Con 2012?
I don't care if that Comic-Con intro is from last year. It's so damn cool. As always, I look forward to your SDCC coverage. Get what little rest you can. I'm sure you're going to be busy soon, and have fun while you're there. See if you can interview Fred Perry, if he's there this year. He's my artistic idol. He'd probably be with Antarctic Press.
Did someone really die? Wow, that's horrible. Why is there a TWILIGHT line? I thought the movies were over?
Tony, love the shirt. Sara, you are rocking that hat.
I remember from the time I was a kid until well into my adulthood I always wanted to go to the San Diego Comic Con. But sometime in the 2000s it's just turned into this huge media event with all sorts of non-comic related things trying to promote themselves there, and even people like my parents and sister (none of whom know anything about comics) know about 'Comic Con' (as if it's the only comic con). The artists used to be the stars there - now there are movie stars that go. So, yeah, I used to want to go. I've never been, and now I think I never will.
