In this episode, Jack approaches an ancient temple in Egypt, the same one in which he studied in as a child and learnt to read Hieroglyphs. Since he is in the distant future, this temple is in ruins.
Meanwhile, Aku and his army come upon the tomb of the Minions of Set who were sealed inside many years ago. Aku then breaks the seal, and the Minions decimate his army before Aku then approaches them and compliments them on their power. He then asks them to obey his command in return for freeing them, orders them to destroy Jack once he reaches the temple, and then disappears.
After this, in the night, Jack comes upon the temple.
