    Origin

    Not much of Sampson's life before he joined the Dollmaker's Family, but once he joined Dollmaker did his "modifactions" to Sampson and made him look a cymbal clapping monkey.

    Creation

    Sampson was created by Detective Comics writer Tony Daniel.

    Major Story Arcs

    Detective Comics: Faces of Death- Dollmaker

    When Batman tracks Ray Quimby to the Taylor Street Import's abandon warehouse he is ambushed by the Dollmaker's Family. During the ensuing fight, Sampson is able to hit Batman across the back of his head with a cymbal. Batman escapes the ambush, but when Batman tracks Dollmaker to Mercy Hospital, he catches Sampson and Bentley carrying harvested organs. Batman makes short work of the two and leaves them for the Gotham Police to hull off to jail.
