Sam Fisher

Sam Fisher is the main character in the Splinter Cell series. The series gets its name from the black ops work Sam does. He and several other Third Echelon agents are known as splinter cells. Each splinter cell is culled from various spec op groups and is then taught to work independently in high risk missions. The series was produced for the X-Box to combat the successful Metal Gear Solid franchise which was exclusively for the Sony Playstation. The game series stressed using sound tactics to survive and later installments allowed different weapon load outs for different styles of play.
