Early Years:
X-MEN Salvador Larroca was born in Valencia, Spain and got his start working at Britain's Marvel Comics hub, Marvel UK. After transferring to the US with scattered work here and there, Larroca got his big break when he was asked to pencil the
Heroes Return mini-series. This work netted him a successful three year run on
Fantastic Four with
Chris Claremont. He then left Fantastic Four to do some cover work and pencil various fill in issues until he landed a spot drawing varous
x-men arcs.

Matt Fraction and do the art and cover work for a new Iron Man on-going series,
The Invicible Iron Man. Their first arcs won an Eisner in 2009 for best new series. Larroca has also been nominated for a 2010 Eisner for best cover artist. During the Stark Dissasembled story arc, Larroca did a series of variant covers with a different layout. Following Issue #25, Salvador also assisted in designing and now drawing the new
