Here's the solicitation for Runaways #14. It seems that they're trying to tease us like with Uncanny X-Men #51. Surely they wouldn't give away something this big on the cover so far in advance... right?

But, I really hope she is back!!

Well.... Yes, but I can tolerate it to an extent.

Having a resurection in this book will just never feel right.

Maybe it's not Earth-616's Gertrude. You know there are Parallel Universes, Alternate Realities, Tangent Timelines and stuff like that which branch off from the mainstream Marvel Universe. Perhaps this Gertrude Yorkes accidentally fell in her parents 4-D Machine or whatever that was called, it activated, she ended up stranded on Earth-616 and it broke down. So you can't really call it a resurrection if the character who is "coming back" is coming from an alternate timeline.

WEll Im not trying to complain. I'll still read the book I don't think anything would make me stop reading it. But the book will just seem different to me.

I think it may be a trick
somethings just fishy .... they would't release a huge teaser like this unless they were using reverse-psychology.

I think it maybe Alex Wilder messing with the Runaways minds
and he is the one who is back from the dead.

But wouldn't bringing Gertrude back also make the characters a bit hesitant twords Victor? if she is alive again then that future older Gertrude came from may still be possible.

For some reason i'm thinking the Pride might return.., because that one thing that Selene will be doing by reviving a lot of mutants.. Well what if there is a crossover and molly's parents return instead of Gert.

ha ha i love this post and agree that the he-she freak is confusing as hell
But really does everyone hate Alex that much? I dont think it would be that bad.
also if gert comes back chase is definetly going to end up dead somehow trying to bring her back. Starcrossed lovers they might be but i dont think their angst will end anytime soon.
I just decieded that i definetly think Alex is coming back to fill the empty guy spot.
