Why Doesn't Snoop Dogg Know Who Rorschach?

Did you know Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was back on? Why am I even bringing it up? Snoop Dogg was on the other day and was asked "In the 2009 superhero film "Watchmen," which character's costume fittingly includes a mask decorated with inkblots?" Is this an obvious question? Why doesn't he know the answer? Will he get it right? Check out the clip to find out.

Perhaps in his defense, the fact that Who Wants To Be A Millionaire misspelled Rorschach's name threw him off.

I don't think it's obvious. I mean I'm a huge Watchmen fan but really he was in 12 issues of a comic and then a movie.
Snoop Dogg is such a joke now though who cares? Reggis sucks too. This clip is bunk!

i like how you don't actualy have to know the character to get this question right. the word "fittingly" in the question even p[oints this out. Rorshach being the ink blot tests they use for psych evaluations.

Hahaha, he fell asleep? C`mon, the first five minutes alone was a brutal fight......

Anyways, not surprised he didn`t know it, but I was glad the audience did. Interesting how 1% thought it was D, 3% thought it was B, 6% thought it was C, and 90% thought it was D. Doesn`t that only equal 99%? So someone didn`t vote? Hmmm. Anyways, cool that $50,000 went to some kids.

I think the better question is "Why doesn't Regis know who Snoop Dogg is?" I could listen to Regis pronounce "hip hop" all day. I think one episode of Live should have nothing but rappers with those stupid phonetic spelled names like Solja boi or whatever it is. That would be funnier than Wedding Crashers.

Snoop was probably high when watching it haha.

If you know nothing about comics, you should still be able to get a question like this right if you know anything about Psychology..... Snoop doesn't strike me as the kind of person that would know much about either! ...Now if the question had been music or drug related?! LOL

"Common knowledge" is a bit unfair, especially when one is talking about things that have basis in two niche areas of knowledge: comic books and psychology. Not everyone needs to know about these things. The Watchmen movie may have created a few new fans, but really, from what I've gathered from people who never read the original series, the movie was kind of confusing and disjointed, and this is without being stoned.

It's also possible to be a Superman fan without ever having picked up a comic book, thanks to all the cartoons, movies, serials, Macy's Day Parade floats, and so on.

Thank you. Even if you haven't seen the movie or read the comics. Once you hear inkblots and the word Rorschach you should have the answer.

Why doesn't Snoop Dogg know who Rorschach (is)? Same reason most people don't. He's an obscure comic character who was recently in a mediocre film adaptation. He apparently fell asleep during the movie, and I can't say as I blame him. I love Watchmen, but I still haven't been able to sit through the entire Director's Cut. He was fairly sure of the answer, and used a lifeline to make sure he got it right, just like anyone else would do in a similar situation. Rorschach tests are also pretty rare these days, and there's absolutely no reason to know anything about them, especially if you're not in Psych 101.

P.S. - He's dum cuz he smokes the reefer! HURRRRRR!!!
