To want to see that Rorschach isn't killed, but rather through some tear in fabric or something is transported to Gotham? Is it wrong to want to see this guy keep going?

Not at all my friend. I thought this guy was an awesome character and the idea of him breaking little fingers in Gotham is pretty cool but ya know, Watchmen is all self-contained and good. You wouldn't really wanna ruin it with cross-overs and stuff. I dunno. Am I contradicting myself?

It couldn't be wrong too. I actually just read it today, and I think he deserves a second chance. Or, maybe he did. Read "Kingdom Come". He's in there.

I want more Rorschach. It makes me sad that he's dead. And if he's not it makes me sad that he lost his hat.

I'd love to see more of him. A Rorschach: Year one series would be cool.

Rorschach, to me, is a better hero than most.  He stands up there with Batman and many others because he doesn't exactly have powers, per se.  Granted, he's a brilliant criminologist, and deft at escaping, but that's what makes him all the more powerful as a character: he's HUMAN.  Those types of characters tend to be more powerful for the reader because you can relate to them so much.  It makes me wish he'd come back...  But then again, Rorschach's death puts his humanity into a rather dramatic perspective.  Truly, one of the greatest characters ever.

yes it is bad, the whole point was that he died for wat he believed in, by letting him live all realism and therefore all the deeper meanings of Watchmen are trivial not really helpful to real life.
