Ron Turner was born in 1922 and worked on Modern Wonder magazine before being draft4ed in 1940. After he war, he drew for a wide variety of British comic anthologies, such as Tit-Bits Science Fiction Comics, Lone Star Magazine (Space Ace , Super Detective Library (primarily Rick Random ).
By the 1960s, he was working at TV Century 21 andTiger with the 1970s and 1980s including Whizzer and Chips, Action, 2000ad (with Rick Random revived), and Battle Picture Weekly.
