Wanted serial killer of Xundar and Sinestro Corps soldier of Sector 2813. Edit
When Romat-Ru was arrested by Xundarian police following a minor charge, an investigation team was sent to his home.
There, the police found the remains of thousands of children. The story of Romat-Ru, one of the most horrific serial killers in the universe, was born.
As the Xundarian butcher was being escorted to prison to face multiple life sentences, he escaped justice when he was liberated by the Sinestro Corps ring and recruited into Sinestro's brotherhood of fear.
During the Sinestro Corps War, Romat-Ru engaged in combat with a number of Green Lanterns, notably Lantern Tomar-Tu of Xudar sparking a personal rivalry between the Xundar's worst monster and its young hero.
