Will rogue ever weild the power she once did in xtreme xmen?

In Xtreme X men Sage jump started her powers this allowed her to freely permanently use everyone's powers at the sametime when ever she wanted too.

do you think she will she ever come back to that level of power?

I hope not, because that would pose multiple problems with writing. Being too powerful is usually a plot hinderance because the writers always have to come up with excuses to why the character couldn't save the day all the time - which is exactly what would happen if Rogue had everyone's powers all the time. I like the power set she has now - full control, and the ability to temporarily absorb multiple powers to a certain limit.

They should never have let her take Ms.Marvel's powers because now that's the only way we want to see her but Marvel is pushing Ms.Marvel again so I can't see them Rouge her powers again.It's almost like they tried to replace Carol with Rouge and then realized that Carol was more valuable to them.Kind of like how they tried to replace Deadpool with Agent X but then when they wanted to start pushing Deadpool again they made Agent X fat and then completely absent from comics.

@Vance Astro: Claremont has stated in interviews that Rogue was created as a way to get rid of Ms. Marvel, because at the time, he did not like the Ms. Marvel character.

I personally would like to see enhanced strength be permanently added to Rogue's power set, I think that has what originally drew me to the character, but I am very glad and will take the full control of her absorption power.

I think Rogue has come a long way, and how she is now is perfect. Giving her the Carol Danvers persona and powers will pretty much ruin all the work the writers have put in over the years. If you want destroying Marvel history, here is some One More Day and Brand New Day :P

I Hope So, Considerin the way things are goin with her Fellow X- Leaders, Cyke and Wolvie doggin her all the time... Why Not make her a ONE MAN ARMY! and see what happens and the reactions and how it impacts the Mutant community. Mean Hope isnt the only one who as the potential of being Powerful in the Mutant community. Just saying the Possablities would be AWESOME! I HOPE ROGUE FINDS A WAY TO USE HER POWERS TO THE MAX and KEEP IT! :D

I think just adding enhanced strength would be cool it's not overkill and it gives her a natural defense now that her absorption power has lost it's kick

I don't think so. It would upstage Hope Summers... and Marvel can't allow that. lol

I think Rouge's best moments where when she had super strength, durability, and flight (Ms. Marvel's)

The current version of Rogue reminds me too much of the movie version.

No Big Hair, No Superman-like Powers, No Southern Flair, No Gambit, No Jacket.

I miss that. :(
