Why can't the Rogue in the normal universe, be like she was before, or for that matter like the one in the exiles book. Total control over her powers, because it's about time she can do it... how long does she been in the Xavier school, I mean it be years! Rogue started on the team at age 19 I suppose, she's 26 or 27 now. I droped X-men when they ended the Xtrem team! It was the best, in there Rogue ruled! Now the writers have virtually destroyed the character... I heared she was striped of her powers and multi psyches, that was what made her that character I loved in the X-men, might as well kill her, I guess it would be better! There's more Rogue's about in the multiverse and all of them sound good right now!

its because writers prefer to write the same stories over and over because they know it works, rather than allowing the character to grow. So they show you what should could be by writing different timeline versions of the characters lol. Although carey seems to be giving Rogue the ability to control her power with this new arc in legacy, so here is hoping for a new direction for the character

I haven't seem the new stuff in the X-men: Legacy, so I can't comment on that, so I hope all goes for the best, and the character finally can became what it's meant to be... it has the potencial to virtually be the most powerful being in the marvel universe! So why not do it then? I would if could write the character...Still the fact she has to deal with the emerging psyches, while retaining her own makes her the greatest character written in the latest years. Why do the writers refuse to inovate, beats me!!!

Rogue is a whinger and always has been. She's been living in New York for like 10-20 years and still speaks with a comically thick southern accent. Kill It.

I don't think they need to kill her. I would be happy with a complete and total overhaul of her character that erased every single aspect of her personality and previous storylines....
