I may be in a minority here but I do not like the combination of teams like this. As a long time X-Men fan I feel like some of my favorite characters are being used to to fuel the Marvel/Avenger movie machine. Or at lease to prop up the
Avengers at the expense of the X-Men. Lets face it the Avengers are the priority now and Marvel is not even pretending anymore that the X-Men have the same level of importance to the company as the Avengers. As for Rogue being
on the Uncanny Avengers initial roster, I am Ok with it. I would rather see another mutant on the team than Wolverine cause he is in too many damm titles each month already. Also I agree the cover art is not very good.

Then why didn't you mention Beast or Wolverine as well? Surely it should have been "After Beast, Wolverine and Storm, Rogue becomes an Avenger"

It's too long and like I said I was emphasizing that Rogue is next after Storm.

Rogue does't really seem to contribute all that much to the Avengers, to be honest, but it largely depends on the enemies they go up against.

Guys in charge of the Avengers want to merge all the X men and oulther teams to it in one way or another. Thing is an Avenger... Spiderman is one, Dr Strange, Iron Fist, Luke Cage. What happened to teams being loyal to their teammates lol?

That's what I thought too but the writer has a crush on Rogue so I believe we'll see more dialogues from Rogue than when Storm was an Avenger.

im pissed, i too feel the evil hooks of disney & the avengers movie machien, but im not sure why im shocked, we all should have seen this coming AvX + Avenger movie succes= 1 year+ of bad comics in a "not a re-boot" format.

While I've always been a fan of Havoks' first appearance costume I just don't care Cassadays' reindition in this picture. It looks as though he's wearing jeans or something.
