razzatazz's Grimm Fairy Tales presents Robyn Hood #5 review

    The wait is over

As an introduction to what will presumably become the next major hero in the Grimm Fairy Tales universe, the story somewhat falls apart in this final issue.  There are some minor factual problems, though these do not affect the story that much.  It is more so that at times things seem very rushed (like the creative team seemed to want to wrap up the events of Myst almost immediately) and that the resulting campaign of revenge after returning to Earth does not seem to be very much in character for Robyn (and also needlessly violent).  The entire effect ends up being disjointed and clunky and not very readable, even when there are small gems here and there (like the introduction of Marian).  Hopefully this character gets incorporated into the Grimm universe in a more effective manner than was done here.
