Robot

Robot is a robot, but not an intelligent one. The Robot that is a member of the Guardians of the Globe is really just a machine controlled by the mind of a genius. The man behind Robot was physically unable to live outside of a specially built device, so he created Robot so he could live vicariously through it.

Around the time that the Teen Team became the Guardians of the Globe, Robot cloned Rex-Splode and started using that body instead of Robot. In this body he could control the body of Robot (and other robots he made) with his mind and use them to fight. Robot met Monster Girl when he became a Guardian and the two started going out while Robot tried to fix Monster Girl's problem. Until he could find a way to make her not get younger every time she transformed, he had her wear a suit that would let her fight on the team without transforming.
