Robocop has some serious gore scenes in it from the part where they waste Alex Murphy, to the part where ED-209 blasts that OCP executive to pieces, and several other parts. Do you think Robocop was the most Gruesome Action film ever ?

Cyberpunk is a style of movie/book/comic...

"Cyberpunk is a science fiction genre noted for its focus on "high tech and low life." It is also a subgenre of industrial rock music. The name is derived from cybernetics and punk and was originally coined by Bruce Bethke as the title of his short story "Cyberpunk," published in 1983, although the style was popularized well before its publication by editor Gardner Dozois. It features advanced science, such as information technology and cybernetics, coupled with a degree of breakdown or a radical change in the social order."

I remember watching one Robocop movie (I think it was the second one) where the bad guy cuts open this guy when he was still alive. Yup, pretty gory, considering it's not in the horror/thriller genre.

I saw that as a kid pretty much traumatized me. That's one of the reasons why I avoid Horror movies.

The gruesome part was when they blasted his nuts off

That was a good one. But when Alex Murphy gets blasted to pieces by Clarence and his Goons with the shotguns is priceless gore at its best.

I thought Cyberpunk was a pen and paper role-playing game.

Its gotta be up there. I mean come on, that scene where Murphy gets gunned down? I'll always remeber that, and the part where that dude falls in the acid and then gets hit by the fan. Awesome.

I have a question. Is Doc Lasarus in Robocop-3 the same scientist that kissed him in Robocop-1 when they had a party?
